Who are we? Complex Needs Nursing
The ISCAN Complex Needs Nursing Team consists of qualified children’s nurses, a learning disability nurse and a support worker who currently care for nearly 800 children and young people.
These children and young people attend one of the following schools: Oakdale, Cromwell, Hawthorns and Samuel Laycock. We also care for children who are aged 0-19 years who currently are not in education.
These children and young people may need support at home and / or in their mainstream setting or nursery.
Who do we work with?
The team works in partnership with a variety of different services and agencies to support children with complex health needs and disabilities to achieve positive outcomes and to be able to access education.
Care is provided in whatever venue is appropriate to the child or young person.
